There's often live music and tents setup in the field beside Newton Farms with people selling KettleCorn, other foods, or homemade niceties (baskets, etc). If you want to shop, there are plenty of speciality stores (a shoe store, art gallery, a couple clothing stores, a general store, liquor store, outdoor/sporting goods store, jewelry, eyeglass, books, etc). There's Ladles Homemade Soups/Sandwiches, La Tela Pizzeria (check out my review of that place before you go), King Street Grille, The Station (gas station/deli), Marble Slab Cremery, Hege's Restaurant, Vincent's Soda Fountain/Drug Store, Starbucks and more. Although I didn't purchase any produce, from a cursory inspection their fruits and veggies were of good quality.Īround the village there are plenty of other things to do as well. They have good food, a decent wine and beer selection, artisan cheese, everything. If you're looking for groceries, Newton Farms is the token high-end/only game in town/expensive food store with everything. I would recommend this Village for many reasons, just don't bother with the Wine Shop.įreshfields is a huge place with pretty much anything you could ask for. We all left angry and didn't buy a thing from him. Other customers were trying to help her and he just stood there looking out the window as if none of us were there. She did not know anything about Pinot Noirs, so she asked him for a recommendation and his response was the same- "anything red is good". Then a woman came in looking for a nice gift and she wanted to buy a bottle of Pinot Noir for a friend. We asked him for a Cabernet recommendation and his response was "anything red is good". The service was horrible! The man working the day we visited either had no knowledge of wines or could care less. The only disappointment was Kiawah Wines in this Village. I reviewed each of these in separate reviews. It has great places for lunch (Ladles), a nice little coffee shop (Java Java), ice cream (Marble Slab Creamery), and an excellent grocery store (Harris Teeter Freshfield's Market). It was nice to not have to travel too far. We stayed on Kiawah Island last week and we loved the Freshfield's Village! It was a short bike or car ride away from Kiawah and had everything you needed and wanted in a vacation village. But don't expect to find anything but basic mass produced and store brand mediocrity, limited selection and poor quality at Harris Teeter. For good local foods stop at Bluebird market at the corner of Maybank and Main road year round, or Rosebank Farm in spring, summer and fall. Do yourself a favor - if you pass a Publix on your way to Kiawah or Seabrook stop and buy your groceries there. This is a coastal town for heaven sake, and the fish must come from the west coast for how fresh it looks. And don't even get me started on the fish. A decent salad bar, interesting local foods, excellent cheese selection, seasonal selections. As a part time resident who is often here alone I relied on Newton Farms for a reasonable quick prepared meal: Solid soups that were clearly not mass produced. You may as we'll be shopping In Walmart and paying 3x the price. All the specialty foods found in Newton Farms are gone. As a store with main clientele of either full time retirees or high end vacationers they do not cater to either market well. My spending for food has declined by more then half since this store replace Newton Farms. Like other reviewers I always leave disappointed. Instead it combines high prices and low quality. It is neither an adequate main stream grocer nor a high end specialty grocer. Harris Teeter is a disappointment on so many levels. As she explains, the brand’s philosophy is that “the quality of dog shampoo should be held to the same standards as products used for humans,” telling us its products are “all-natural and made with ingredients such as avocado oil for hydration and itchiness relief, and marshmallow root for killing bacteria and healing hot spots.” While the experts say all the shampoos on this list work on coats of fur or hair, Richardson notes that Pride and Groom has distinct formulations for each type. If you’re looking for an effective shampoo to clean the dirt and grime of daily life from a dog, Richardson likes the products from Pride and Groom. While none of the shampoos require a prescription, it’s always a good idea to consult with your vet before trying a new one to ensure it won’t lead to any unwanted surprises. Read on for the 12 shampoos our experts recommend, including formulas for everyday cleansing, freshening coats, treating itchy skin, and more. The experts note to rinse off all shampoo thoroughly after a bath before drying a dog off all over, including “the ears and any skin folds to avoid infections,” says Richardson. The same consideration should be used for your dog,” she says, because most shampoos, especially medicated ones, also tend to be highly concentrated. “Would you just dump shampoo right onto your scalp? No, you put it in your hands first. Richardson warns to steer clear of shampoos that are heavily scented because “dogs have much more sensitive noses than humans.” Bales adds that the effectiveness of any shampoo hinges on using proper bathing technique. According to her, such ingredients include aloe vera, colloidal oatmeal, avocado oil, marshmallow root, and coconut oil. Jamie Richardson, the medical chief of staff at Small Door Veterinary, says you should look for shampoos with ingredients known to be sensitive on skin to minimize any unwanted irritation. But depending on the needs of your dog and what you’re hoping to get from bath time - a healthier coat, a better smell, or less itching - they do have recommendations for everyday shampoos and stronger, medicated options to treat more serious conditions.Īs a general rule, Dr. In speaking to her and eight other vets and groomers, we heard from many that it’s hard to name one shampoo as the best for all dogs in all situations. “Is your goal to wash off the mud they just rolled in? Do they have a bacterial infection you need to control? Are they itchy? Do they have fleas? Do they smell bad? All these problems require different shampoos,” Bales says. From delicate skin to high-shed coats, every dog has unique needs that, along with the purpose of any bath, should inform your search for a shampoo, explains veterinarian Dr. The same is true when shopping for a dog shampoo, according to the experts we spoke with. When you choose your own shampoo, it’s not - or shouldn’t be - without considering factors like hair type and skin sensitivity. Photo-Illustration: The Strategist Photos: Retailers Not really what we are looking for here, it’s possibly the worst option overall as well. This option isn’t so bad as we can do the maze in “reverse”. (meh) – This one lets you “skip” the maze and go all the way to the entrance of the Tower of Braccus Rex. > Show the gargoyle the ring of the Source King. > Admit you aren’t, but ask if you may enter here anyway. Of course you are. (OK!) – Doesn’t matter if you have the ring on or not, this response isn’t good enough for the Gargoyle… Perhaps it was programmed to only to allow the ring bearer in? Either way, a natural entrance is what we’re after. The implications aren’t important but I may as well warn you. The event triggers when you walk near it so be careful. Now that you know how to track down the Crumbling Skulls in the Gargoyle Maze in Divinity: Original Sin 2, you’ll be able to walk away with some valuable new weapons and armor.Speaking to the main gate Gargoyle Head is a one-time thing. Speak to the gargoyle statue once more to receive your reward. For a visual walkthrough, check out this video from RPG Division. When you have collected as many Crumbling Skulls as possible, feel free to head toward the tower door, just up the large staircase. Look for another corpse holding yet another Crumbling Skull. There is one last corpse behind the tower itself. Before reaching the final staircase, search to the right of the tower and locate Jimfred’s corpse to find another skull. Crumbling Skull 5Ĭontinue through the maze toward the tower. Afterward, go through the portal up the steps in the corner to reach the Realm of Orobas and find the next Crumbling Skull. After defeating the skeletons, douse the flames on the Historian using a combination of Bless and Raining Blood, then speak with the Historian. Upon entering the area, a battle will begin and you will need to defeat all of the burning skeletons in the room. Crumbling Skull 4Ĭontinue through the next gate leading to a chamber with a Historian engulfed in flames. Place the oil barrel on the nearby pressure switch to reveal another Crumbling Skull on the corner altar. Grab the oil barrel nearby and place it on top of the pressure switch. Between the two oil spills is another pressure switch on the ground. Make your way to the second room with the glowing blue gate. Fly or Teleport to this upper level and stand on the pressure switch to reveal another altar holding a Crumbling Skull on the first level across from the switch. In the next section, look for another pressure switch on top the upper level. To the right of the first pressure switch is a closed gate that you can go through. This will cause a Crumbling Skull to appear on the altar to the left. After speaking to the front gargoyle and entering the maze, go forward and stand on the pressure switch on the ground with one of your party members. The first skull is found soon after entering the Gargoyle Maze. There are several skulls in the maze, but you should collect at least three in order to get the best reward at the end. The Crumbling Skulls get their name from their ephemeral nature, as they can only be used once. Gargoyle Maze - Crumbling Skull Locations Be sure to use this ability when you’re in a bind or can’t figure out how to proceed. Note: If you happen to have Teleportation, this will make navigating the maze much easier. While this may seem convenient, it will cause you to miss out on the looting the maze. If you have the Band of Braccus Rex, the statue will mistake you for Braccus and teleport you straight to the tower. Climb the vines and go forward to reach the entry gate of the maze, where you must speak to the gargoyle statue out front. Look for some vines along the cliff on the west side of the maze, indicated on the map image above. The Gargoyle Maze is located on the southeast side of the island. This guide will explain where to find all of the Crumbling Skulls within the Gargoyle Maze in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Throughout the maze are several Crumbling Skulls that can be redeemed for loot later. As you explore Fort Joy, you’ll eventually come across a Gargoyle Maze on the southeast end of the island. Pres 1 and wait for the Schlage button to flash orange light three times, followed by three beeps.Next, press the Schlage button on the keypad. Enter your current Programming Code and wait for the Schlage button to illuminate orange three times and the lock beep three times.Note that you can’t lock/unlock the door via the keypad if you don’t create new User Codes (after deleting the default User Codes). Next, you’ll need to add new User Codes to lock and unlock your door via the keypad. Basically, you can delete all existing User Codes with this method. This will delete the two default User Codes. Enter your Programming Code again to complete the process.Press 6 and wait for three orange lights from the Schlage button, followed by three beeps. Enter your current Programming Code and wait for the Schlage button to flash orange lights three times and the lock beeps three times. That said, here’s how to delete the default User Codes (and any existing User Code): Though you might have deleted these codes before, resetting the lock will restore the codes, so you’ll need to delete them again and add new unique codes. How to Change the 4 Digit Code (User Code)Īs you can see on the sticker (on the back of the keypad assembly or front of the user guide), the lock comes with two default User Codes, which you need to delete and add your own codes. You can now use the new code for all programming function changes/settings. If successful, the Schlage button will illuminate green, followed by one long beep.Īnd that’s all you need to do to change the default Programming Code to a code of your choosing.
We went from me yelling at him for shooting firedarts on our base (him trying it out on some rabbits he have placed in a pen - dont bother w this they dont breed/ spawn without a rabbithole) to me apologising bc my character (Wendy) getting too close to the beefalo on site (again my partner really likes trapping animals in a pen thinking theyd just breed that way), auto attacked them and they broke out of the pen. We have always welcomed any exercises to practise our communication and the game delivered. My partner and I got DST as a little escapism from COVID19. Our bases looked like a mess before that and it was always annoying to decide who makes crockpots and who has best skin for drying racks :D For example I've bought fighting skins and wortox to my account and she has bought wormwood, wurt and other decorating skins to hers. Since we play on PS4, we have even distributed our item shoppings on our own PS accounts. Even tho she hates bosses we've beaten all surface bosses together and on our 1000 days server we just destroyed misery toadstool together. We have this "attack and support" playstyle, where I usually kill everything that moves while she makes the base. But DST got us instantly and I think we have something of 400 hours in the game now. Sure, we've beaten Guacamelee 1+2, Knack 1+2, HOMM 3+7 and Diablo 3 but it has always been something mediocre fun. I originally bought the game thinking it was some kind of hack and slash game. No, my pupils are definitely tiny, even in a dimly lit room. Rule #1 in medicine : "if it ain't broke - don't fix it" to be honest with you, dont worry about it if you haven't got any symptoms. this doesnt make their body abnormal its just the tone of their heart muscle is better.Ĭauses of pinpoint pupil usually are associated with acute events like strokes ( usually in the pons) and drug overdoses (pesticides etc). some athletes are perfectly healthy and have a pulse rate of 40/min ( eg usain bolt types). If say 95% of people have a pulse rate between 60-90/min then that is taken as "normal" ( and it is). There is no definition of "Normal" that fits everybody in medicine. obviously it is much harder to check if your eyes dilate than if your eyes constrict ( though you can induce this by pinching the side of the base of your neck ( trapezius muscle) on the side of the pupil you are checking) you should also have trouble driving because accomodation from near to far vision usually dilates pupils. if you have severe visual blurring and eye pain ( like what happens when you walk into a brighlty lit room after an eye check up when they dilate your pupils) your pupils are too small ( but i find this highly unlikely). Try going from a brightly lit room to a less lit ( but not completely dark) room. How large should my pupils be in a darkened room? I couldn't even drive at night anymore even if this seizure stuff was behind me because of how tiny my pupils are day and night.Īnybody else have this pinpoint pupil problem? They DON'T check to see if they enlarge in darkness. Whether I am standing in the sun or sitting in the dark, my pupils are ALWAYS tiny, and neuros have only ever checked to see if shining a light in my eyes causes my pupils to get any tinier. By that I mean that they don't respond to DARKNESS by enlarging, which is perhaps why even neuros don't understand why I'm so concerned and frustrated. I keep mentioning my pinpoint pupils to doctor after doctor, even the neuro who is currently evaluating me for these seizures, and though my pupils react somewhat to light (barely), I do not believe their size is truly 'normal' by any means. What was interesting about this particular seizure though was that I happened to be OCD-cleaning something (I have OCD, too) and standing in front of the bathroom mirror at the seizure's onset.Īt the very first sign of this seizure (a funny taste in my mouth), I happened to be 'conscious' enough to briefly glance at my face in the mirror and noticed that for a fraction of a second (literally.less than a second) my pupils grew larger, but then they quickly reverted back to their 'normal' pinpoint size as the dizziness/confusion part of my seizure began. Back on February 3, 2011, I had my second seizure since ending up in a ditch back in December. With more than 1,700 students on campus each year, Oakwood University’s changes will have an impact on healthier living now and for generations to come. Over three years, Oakwood will make changes such as providing healthier food and beverage options in dining venues, creating opportunities for physical activity and offering wellness programming on campus. On September 21, 2015, Oakwood University teamed up with PHA to meet 23 guidelines, all with an eye toward shaping good habits for our future leaders and parents. But college and university students, faculty and staff now find themselves in healthier environments thanks to the work being done by PHA partners like Oakwood University. Going off to college signals a time of newfound independence for young adults, who are suddenly able to make their own choices about what they eat and how much activity they get – or don’t get. ~ Oakwood University, 2015 PHA Progress Report Furthermore, since the initiatives are focusing on food/nutrition, activity/movement, and overall programming, these themes have become strategic areas that support the STANDOUT model original to our campus. University of Utah Hospital plans to release a report to the community in 2020.“As the first school in the state of Alabama to join the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) in September 2015, we have eagerly embraced the 23 initiatives that we have agreed to integrate into our creating a culture of health. It will also improve our ability to assess the impact of our community engagement and more effectively communicate positive health outcomes. The repository will help us combine and coordinate efforts to have greater impact, and align these efforts with the strategic priorities of the community and the university. Since opening in March 2018, the PrEP Clinic has served more than 300 patients.Īs part of the strategic plan for the next five years, we are creating a central repository to track community engagement activity campuswide. U of U Hospitals & Clinics donated space at its Redwood Health Center, and physicians and students work on a volunteer basis to provide care at no cost to patients. Our students are our nation’s future leaders. Patients can meet with a case manager, a pharmacist, and a medical provider during their visits. Today, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania has agreed to make its campus environment healthier and announced a three-year commitment to Partnership for a Healthier America’s (PHA) Healthier Campus Initiative, a commitment designed to enhance the campus environment by supporting and promoting healthier eating and improved physical fitness. Along with PrEP, the clinic offers HIV testing, prevention, treatment, and counseling for sexually transmitted diseases. The PrEP Clinic demonstrates how strategic community partnerships have the potential to go beyond clinical care to achieve whole person care. In addition to referring uninsured patients to the clinic, these partners play an essential role in educating the community and building trust between patients and medical professionals. To increase access and improve health outcomes Spivak and Keeshin opened Salt Lake City’s first free PrEP clinic in partnership with the Utah Aids Foundation, Utah Department of Health, Salt Lake County Health Department, Equality Utah, Encircle, One Voice Recovery, Utah Aids Education and Training Center, Utah Pride Center, Comunidades Unidas, and ARUP Laboratories. Adam Spivak, MD, and Susan Keeshin, MD, identified the need to make PrEP available to uninsured populations at risk for acquiring HIV. Taken once a day, the HIV prevention pill known as Pre-Exposure Prohphylaxis (or PrEP) has proven up to 95 percent effective against HIV infection. U of U Health’s free HIV PrEP Clinic is a great example of the role communities can play in medical practice. When making decisions within the health system, we should always consider: How is this going to impact the community? What do they perceive as their biggest health needs?Ī lot of community engagement work is already taking place on our campus. As U of U Health continues to expand to serve a growing and ever-changing population, we have to listen and respond to their needs. At the same time, we want to take the community perspective into our clinical priorities. In collaboration with them, we develop goals on behalf of the health and well-being of our citizens, region, and nation. Through strategic partnerships, we take our strengths into the community. Please see the Porsche Taycan Owner’s Manual for additional information. However, some people claim that making your products can be affordable. See the Porsche Taycan New Car Limited Warranty and your authorized Porsche Taycan dealer for details. Various factors, including exposure to hot or cold weather conditions, can affect the rate of battery capacity loss and charging time. For 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, Porsche provides High-Voltage Battery Coverage under its New Car Limited Warranty if a capacity measurement performed at a Porsche authorized dealer shows that net battery capacity is less than the expected percentage at the times specified in the New Car Limited Warranty. The rate of capacity loss will tend to be greater in the early part of the battery’s life, but the rate of loss should decrease over time. This is normal and expected.Īlthough Porsche expects the majority of vehicles to retain 70% of the battery’s original capacity through the first 8 years or 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first) of normal use, the rate of reduction varies, and will depend upon your individual usage and operating environment. Therefore, the Taycan battery will experience a reduction in the amount of electricity or charge it can hold over time, resulting in a reduction in the vehicle’s range and an increase in charging times. Like all lithium-ion batteries, the lithium-ion battery in the Porsche Taycan is subject to physical and chemical aging, as well as wear and tear. AMCI Testing Results for the Taycan models are as follows: - MY21 Taycan – 252 miles - MY21 Taycan with Performance Battery Plus – 282 miles - MY21 Taycan 4S – 247 miles - MY21 Taycan 4S with Performance Battery Plus – 272 miles - MY20 Taycan Turbo with Performance Battery Plus – 275 miles - MY20 Taycan Turbo S with Performance Battery Plus – 278 miles More information on AMCI Testing’s results can be found at: As with all battery-electric vehicles, the actual range of the Taycan will vary based on a number of factors as described above with regard to EPA range estimates. Mode with Auto Regeneration selected and while using the HVAC in Eco mode. Tested on AMCI Testing’s “City/Highway Commute Cycle” route on public roads in and around Southern California, the results were calculated by averaging the vehicle’s performance over five test cycles. Porsche asked AMCI Testing to conduct independent tests to evaluate the range of the Taycan, Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo and Taycan Turbo S to help customers make more informed decisions. These range estimates provide guidelines but the distance you can drive (range) varies considerably based on a number of factors, such as driving conditions and traffic situation (e.g., stop-and-go driving or highway driving), personal driving habits and selected driving mode (e.g., Sport), speed, topography, use of comfort/auxiliary equipment (e.g., air conditioning, heat, etc.), optional equipment (e.g., wheels and tires), weather, outside temperature, number of passengers, cargo, age of vehicle and the battery, battery capacity, and charging habits. The EPA range estimates enable comparison to other electric vehicles. With recuperation braking from 124 mph to 0, electrical energy can be recovered for a range of nearly 2.5 miles. Or to be more precise: during sporty, everyday driving, for example, you could achieve up to a third of your range exclusively from recuperation. So you significantly improve your car's stopping power and the maximum possible amount of kinetic energy is transformed into additional miles of driving pleasure: with an outstanding recuperation output of up to 275kW, energy can be fed back into the battery. This means that brake recuperation is first activated via the brake pedal and the mechanical brake is only engaged when stronger braking is required – intelligently controlled by a braking system that is capable of blending. The system works innovatively and can recuperate up to 90% of the braking energy, always ensuring maximum efficiency. For brake energy recuperation in all Taycan models, Porsche developed Porsche Recuperation Management (PRM), which consists of sophisticated brake recuperation. IN MID GAME WHEN MY TEAM HAS SET FOR NEXT OBJECTIVE, TELL YOUR ROUTE “I’m going gromp and then lower crab, can you take prio mid” If we learn to automatically ping our next camp, we’ll learn to inform the team about itīy the way, it helps our team play with us WHEN I GO TO ANY CAMP IN EARLY GAME I CAN SPING ON MY WAY If I know that the opponent has a strong side and will want to invade me after the first buff, it is worth starting the jungle from that side so that he cannot find any camps there during his invade Choosing the right option and doing it according to plan is the whole art in the forest I want to remain “ignorant “and” unpredictable “in the forest although the opponent has a good vision of lvl1 so I can start then NOT with a buff but with a normal camp 8. I have great ganks on a particular line so I set a route (top2bot, bot2top) to that line 7. I have a super lvl 2 gank on some line so I can do singlebuff-> gank 6. I want “power farming” so I have a defensive vision and go from top to bottom 5. I or my opponent want to VERY play under top or mid so I can force vertical jungle all my route to be on this side 4. I have a stronger lvl 1 and want to invade on the first buff and potentially go into triple buff 3. I have stronger lines (prio) and I want to invade the opponent’s second buff or play two crabs – I need to have a vision for lvl 1 or be sure of his route 2. MAKE MY PLAN FOR THE FIRST ROUTE What do my character and the character of the enemy do? A random set of plans for the first route: 1. PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT WHICH LINES IM NEAR TO If it’s on the lower river I say mid / bot can play over aggro when it’s on the upper river I say mid / top can play over aggro This way I force favorable trade for my laners in one sentenceĭo we or our opponents want a vertical jungle? Do we have a site that we VERY want to play?ĭo we have a good lvl1 team comp to enforce?Įvery time you visit a given line, ask laner what to do with the line – push, leave or freeze Which my camps are up or available – I can’t be behind the farm for no reasonĪt which line I can easily make a gank (because there are no summoners or we have a lot of CC + DMG)Ī huge difficulty because it is a whole jungler game – interpretation and plan despite many variables Which line will I want to do actions on? Does he want top2bot or bot2topĭoes he want to enter the opponent’s jungle to solo him or make a vision? Do my lines have a prio to do this I need a plan for the next route and where I want to visualize at the route. I know that he will want a crab so you can yellow trinket on two crabs, ward directly on the buff if we do not know from which begins, ward on raptors After the times of the arrival of opposing laners on the line, try to determine if they helped at a specific camp During each route you should think about how to make the vision to increase the chance of finding enemy jungler without losing your route effectiveness In practice, the ward on the opponent’s camps before he does them almost always gives information, so it is worth communicating about the vision on his raptors / blue / gromp on lvl 1 and the next resets The difficulty is knowing each jungle route in the context of the prio you and your opponent have – it’s an art to predict exactly what the enemy jungler will do. JUNGLE TRACKING FROM LVL 1 Before the game, you should think about the route of the enemy jungler and inform the team about possible wards on LVL 1 that allow you to track him, e.g. Those are things that most of the challenger players and pro’s focus on. I will make a list of things you probably didn’t know or never did before and what it will do is improve your self-consciousness about LoL and your overall performance.ĭon’t expect this post to be “5 quick tips on how to rank up fast” because I want to focus on how to be a better player, and hitting a rank is an only transitional process. Many people who are playing high ELO ranked games probably didn’t even think about most of the aspects on this list so here I am. |
